This is an excellent book. As ER-resident, I found this book invaluable in helping me understand the procedures, I am trying to learn. This text can also do more than explain the procedures but also provides many basic information about the underlying disease, the labeling procedure jne.Haluan also remember that even though this text is addressed to ER. . . I think that any doctor performing a procedure of sewing and a variety of intubation Access IV tubes in his chest can not find this book helpful. I bought every edition of this valuable resource. I do not work in a busy, high precision of the ED, but also consider this if you have a family doc in rural areas where you may be asked to perform rescue procedures, which was not seen by the country of origin. As ER PA I think this is a big full text of many of the procedures useful for primary care. However, the modern-day requirements of B & W photos and illustrations are very dated. The option you should consider a better picture and detailed descriptions are: Emergency Medicine Procedures by Eric Reichman and Robert Simon. Rating: 4 / 5
